A Simple Advent Wreath

Pictured above is my family's advent wreath made of one wreath, 3 purple candles, 1 pink candle, a center white candle for Christmas Day, and some ribbon for pizzaz. But all you need is a wreath and 5 candles. I purchased these “won’t-ever-burn-the-house-down” battery candles from christianbooks.com for $7.99 at https://www.christianbook.com/advent-led-tea-lights/37954/pd/37954X?event=CBCER1 For an Advent, curriculum clicks on the link for Good News of Great Joy at https://www.faithpassing.org/resources/a-review-of-good-news-of-great-joy. Additionally, I found this post helpful from Common Ground Church of Indianapolis, Indiana. You’ll have to skip the church-specific information but the content is helpful especially for providing parents with context for each week and it includes song suggestions as well. https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/f584e4da/files/uploaded/2020%20Advent%20Family%20Guide-2.pdf
